The Following Announcement (TFA) are an English pop punk band from Bristol, United Kingdom. Formed in 2006, the pop punk trio released the album "In Secret Places" which gave us fan favourites like "BRB" and "Keeper". After touring the album both here and in the USA the band quickly hit the studio again in 2010 and released the single "Jenny", giving the band its biggest hit so far. Since then the band have gone on to release the “Think High To Rise” EP in 2015 followed by the single “Supernova” and most recently “One For Us” in 2019.
TFA are widely renowned for their energetic live performances and have been lucky enough to extensively tour the UK since 2006 with countless sell out headline and main support shows. TFA have been described as pop punk, punk rock and skate punk. With influences that include All Time Low, Green Day, The Ataris and New Found Glory.
After returning from hiatus with a sell out hometown show, TFA are set to release the new single “Roads? Where We’re Going We Don’t Need Roads” on March 30th 2020. The band consist of Si Bright (vocals, guitar), Matt-James D (bass, vocals) and Danny Watts (drums).
